Share information on the ARMP and EIS processes and their importance to Navajo Nation communities, ensuring all members understand the scope and purpose of the plan.

  • 02 - Gather Knowledge

Document current agricultural challenges and opportunities across Navajo Nation lands, incorporating both technical data and traditional ecological knowledge from community members.

  • 03 - Enable Participation

Provide tribal members, producers, and stakeholders with meaningful, culturally appropriate opportunities to provide input and share traditional knowledge in both Diné and English.

  • 04 - Integrate Input

Ensure community input and traditional knowledge are appropriately and respectfully incorporated into the ARMP and EIS, with transparent documentation of how input shaped the plan.

  • 05 - Build Ownership

Build community support and ownership for plan implementation through ongoing engagement, accountability, and clear reporting on how participation contributed to the ARMP’s development.
